There were shouts of joy, dancing and jubilation as young students got matriculated into the new Cross River State College of Nursing and Midwifery Sciences, Itigidi, Abi Local Government Area.
In the words of a matriculant: “It feels like a dream, that I will graduate with a degree from this institution and go for NYSC. God bless the super Governor and visionary Health Commissioner.”
The ceremony marked a historic milestone for the institution as it matriculated 100 students — a record for the first time in many decades — affirming growing confidence in nursing education at Itigidi.
